It looks as chipset specific problem (YHM0800 from ISA PnP). I have here
OPL3-SA3 chip (YMH0030) and I don't have this sort of problems here.

If you can, please, try debug this problem. All datasheets are available
on ftp://alsa.jcu.cz/pub/manuals - or you may check Yamaha official
FTP site.

Otherwise, you must wait :-((
