  True, but I don't think it contains anything more than the code to enable 
the sound blaster emulation.  From what I remember it does not tell us much 
about the programming model for the ASSP, which is after all, what we are 
after.

  I started translating the sound blaster emulation functions to linux; aka 
modifying the inline assembler for gcc to handle.  I got a few of the modules 
to compile; but have not taken it further due to phd time constraints.  (i.e. 
the code does nothing at this stage).

  Let me know if anyone is interested in this semi-translated stuff and I'll 
put it on my web page.
