Hi all,

	CVS sources contains big changes:

* ALSA now uses char major number 116 for native devices
  - you don't remember run snddevices script!!
* ALSA uses soundcore from 2.2 kernels for OSS/Lite compatible devices
  - /dev/sndstat support was removed for 2.2 kernels
  - these modifications allow mixing OSS/Lite devices and
    ALSA OSS/Lite emulation devices
  - !!!use soundcore-2.2.1.patch for 2.2.0/2.2.1 kernels!!!
    - this patch will be in 2.2.2 kernel (confirmed by Alan Cox)
* major device registration changes
  - ALSA code is prepared for devfs now
* kerneld/kmod support looks differently now!!
  - check INSTALL file..
* added various patches from Abramo Bagnara <abbagnara@racine.ra.it>
  - code for es1868/ES1869 chipsets is merged to es18xx
* patch from Anders Semb Hermansen <ahermans@vf.telia.no> for soundcard
  selection
  - this patch greatly reduces compilation time
* other changes which I don't remember at this time...

Please, I need check 2.2 support and if new ALSA devices allocation is
working properly. I appreciate any feedback.
