Hi,

Finally got round to doing some more work on alsa-lib++.

The code I've just checked into the CVS server now compiles for me
(egcs snapshot 980609).

It's not /awfully/ useful yet - currently, you can only read
information about the card and the mixer.

However - if people would like to test it, the code compiles for me,
and the snd_info program in the tests directory /should/ give
information about your soundcard. It would be useful if people could
let me know whether it works properly or not.
