Again, check if interrupts is generated when some sound is playing (cat
/dev/interrupts). If not, IRQ is used by another device. IRQ 9 is mostly
used with PCI VGA card if user doesn't turn this IRQ off in BIOS. Check
your /proc/pci.

;-)))) Please, SB emulation and MPU-401 emulation with InterWave chip
can't be used in right operating system. Looks like that this feature is
designed only for MS-DOS or other system which accepts NMI. Note that this
emulation doesn't extends InterWave functionality (only allows that some
MS-DOS games produces some sound with some emulation software). Don't
activate these devices with isapnp. Use rather IRQ 11 for synth & codec.
