Hello there,
Firstly let me say thanks for writing a driver that directly
supports my soundchip, I have tried the oss one but it doesnt install
properly, so i was very glad to find your driver. I have a motherboard
with built in video and sound, an EliteGroup P5TX-LA, the sound chip is
a CRYSTAL CX4237B-XQ3. I am running kernel 2.0.36, the sound option
configured off, with Alsa driver 0.3.0pre2. I am using isapnp (executed
during bootup) to set the chip up, then trying Alsa.

I am having problems getting the driver to activate. When the driver
loads i get these messages:

snd: probing for CS4236+ isn't supported
snd: port = 0xff, cport = 0xff
snd: CS4236+ soundcard #1 not found or device busy
