Well, I went and did something sick and wrong, I decided to try and learn alsa sequencer coding... 

I've managed to understand how to get all the info and allocate a queue, I think I understand how to cause events to occur using the wonder alsa function names... but, I'm not quite sure how I would use this to convert a OSS app to use alsa's sequencer instead. 

Any help would be appreciated, or you can tell me to go away until you are done with the sequencer anyway :)
