Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 0.2.0-pre10p2.
Compiled in Dec 27 1998 for kernel 2.1.132.

0 [card1          ]: IW - InterWave
                     AMD InterWave at 0x220, irq 11, dma 5

The card is Gus PnP Pro

Dec 27 00:31:06 moon kernel: snd: [0x220] InterWave check - rev1=0x10,
rev2=0x1f
Dec 27 00:31:06 moon kernel: snd: [0x220] InterWave check - passed
Dec 27 00:31:06 moon kernel: enable_irq() unbalanced from 0000000b
Dec 27 00:31:41 moon modprobe: can't locate module snd-minor-oss-3
Dec 27 00:31:42 moon last message repeated 2 times

So, I can't get any sound out of my card. For example mpg123 works great
but I can't get any sound out. That's propable because I can't unmute the
card.

(#:~/alsa-driver-0.2.0-pre10p2) cat settings > /proc/asound/0/mixer0
bash: /proc/asound/0/mixer0: Operation not supported by device

I get that kind of message when trying to adjust mixer.

Card works great with 2.0.36 with kernels own sound-driver (OSS).
It doesn't work with ALSA with 2.0 or 2.1 kernels. It also doesn't
work with 2.1 kernels own driver (OSS). I use isapnp and it should
initialize the card correctly. What's wrong?
